Meet Dr. Austin Owen

DDS
Dr. Owen earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Adventist University before going on to earn his dental degree from the Loma Linda School of Dentistry in Southern California. While there, he received multiple awards for clinical skill and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Owen has pursued advanced training in multiple aspects of dentistry, including:
- Endodontics
- Orthodontics including Invisalign & Simply Clear
- Implants
- Restorations
- Oral Surgery
- Dentures
With these skills, Dr. Owen is fully capable of providing you with the brightest smile possible. The entire My Family Dentistry team is committed to continued education, allowing us to provide you with the best practices and techniques.
Dr. Owen strives to make every patient feel comfortable and heard. He knows that the dentist’s chair isn’t everyone’s favorite place to be, so he tries to make all of his patients as comfortable as possible. The spa-like atmosphere of our treatment rooms is key to helping you feel relaxed during any procedure.
Dr. Owen enjoys teaching other dentists how they can offer Orthodontics at their dental practice. He has been the lead instructor at many conferences instructing other dentists how to perform Orthodontic procedures, to provide more specialized services for their patients. He also teaches dentists how to identify, diagnose, and treat airway issues in pediatric patients.
Dr. Owen is a devoted husband and proud father of two little girls. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and biking, as well as gardening together.
