I would inquire about healthcare and science-related fields as a young teenager. And my dad being an engineer, I always worked with my hands. With that drive came being mentored by people. That really meant a lot to me. And I’ve always tried to surround myself with people that know more than me, that are better than me. And I was influenced by physicians, dentists. There was a dentist in my church growing up.
I want to be able to offer my patients something that they’ve never had before. And being able to bring patients in East Tennessee the best industry possible, go and learn from the best people in the world, and learn it in a way that I can apply it to our practice here and teach others, really has been fulfilling. And I feel blessed. Patients sit in my chair and say, “No one’s ever done this like this before. You’re the only dentist that has really operated like that.” To make dentistry disappear behind the scenes has always been our goal, whether it be a smile pain, or whether it be a toothache. That has been some of the most fulfilling things that I’ve been able to do, is to make dentistry disappear and really give people the smile they deserve.
