There are moments in life that change you forever, and my experience with My Family Dentistry has been one of those moments. I truly don’t know if words can adequately express the gratitude I have for this incredible team.
From the very beginning, Dr. Anthony, Jordan, Kenzie, Jemikia, Whitney and every single team member who has been part of my journey have shown me a level of care, compassion, kindness, and genuine love that I have never experienced before.
When I first walked through their doors, I was anxious, nervous, and honestly terrified of what the outcome might be. I had so many fears and uncertainties. But from day one, they made me feel safe, heard, understood, and, most importantly, cared for. They didn’t just see a patient who needed dental work. They saw a person whose life they had the opportunity to change and that’s exactly what they did.
My final results are officially in, and I couldn’t be happier! The outcome is absolute perfection and more beautiful than anything I could have ever imagined. I finally have a smile that I can be proud of, and the confidence and happiness that come with it are truly indescribable.
But as incredible as the final results are, something happened on that last visit that touched my heart in a way I will never forget.
Over a year and an half ago, during my consultation with Dr. Anthony and Jordan, I casually mentioned something that probably seemed so simple to most people. I told him that I hadn’t been able to bite into an apple in over 20 years and how much I wished I could do something as ordinary as that again.
He remembered.
After my finals were in place and the team was admiring my new smile, they brought my husband back to share in the excitement. And then Dr. Anthony did something I never could have expected.
He surprised me with an apple. 🍎
Something so simple. Something most people probably take for granted every single day. But to me, it meant the world.
And right there, together, we bit into an apple.
For the first time in over 20 years, I was able to do something I had only dreamed of doing again. The overwhelming happiness and tears that followed are impossible to put into words.
It wasn’t just about biting into an apple. It was about getting a little piece of my life back. It was about someone remembering something that mattered to me, even after more than a year, and caring enough to turn that wish into a moment I will cherish forever.
That moment spoke volumes about the kind of person Dr. Anthony is and the heart behind this entire practice.
You simply cannot teach that level of compassion. It comes from genuinely caring about people.
Dr. Anthony, Jordan, Maddie, and the entire team didn’t just give me a beautiful new smile. They gave me confidence, joy, peace of mind, and an experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
There are plenty of places that can provide dental care, but finding people who make you feel like family, celebrate your victories as if they were their own, and remember the little things that mean everything to you? That is something truly extraordinary.
